A new edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted” highlights two men wanted on bench warrants and for questioning in separate investigations.

The new episode began airing May 1. In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating 23-year-old Collins Hopeau, wanted for questioning in a burglary investigation and on a no-bail bench warrant for violating probation.

Hopeau is described as 5 feet 9, 190 pounds with brown hair and black eyes. His last known address was in Pahoa.

Also wanted is 47-year-old Peter Everett Fuerte, sought for questioning in an auto theft investigation. He’s also wanted on two $10,000 bench warrants for contempt of court.

Fuerte is described as 5 feet 8, 200 pounds and bald with a beard and numerous tattoos on his arms and body. He might be in Ka‘u.

Anyone with information about Hopeau or Fuerte is asked to call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential. Crime Stoppers does not record phone calls or subscribe to caller ID.

It also airs intermittently on Channel 53.
